Hello everyone! Needing some help on the above people. William and Eliza were both born in Illinois. They married 17 feb 1897 in Greene County, Illinois. Sometime between 1918 and 1920,they moved to Monroe, Anderson County, Kansas.
They had four children:
Lucille, born 1899
Ralph, born in 1904
Roberta/Ruberta around 1907
Eliza Ann, b. 20 Dec 1918 d. 20 dec 1918 in Jersey County, Illinois and buried at Oak Grove Cemetery in Jerseyville.
I have found where one of their daughter, Eliza Ann, died at the age of 3 hours.
In the 1920 and 1930 census, they are living in Monroe Twp, Anderson Co. In the 1930 census, Lucille is no longer living with her parents and siblings. I did find a marriage of a Lucille M to a D.A. Robinson on the Anderson County rootsweb page. There was no date or timeline attached to this marriage index so not sure when it happened... I do know that it most likely happened between 1920 and 1930.
On the Jersey County rootsweb page, I found an obit for a Mrs. Edward Graham who died January 6th (NO YEAR WAS GIVEN) in Birmingham, Alabama. This must have been Roberta/Ruberta.
In this obituary it has Lucille as a ROBERTSON, not Robinson which could have just been a typo or a mistake in hearing the correct last name when the obit was written.
On the SSDI on ancestry I found a Ralph Mains with a birthdate of 12 May 1904 and died in May 1980 in Garnett, Anderson Co. This is where he was living when his sister, Mrs. Edward Graham, died-- whenever in the world THAT was...
Any help on death infornation, burial information, marriages, etc. would be greatly appreciated...
