I am searching for the town name in old Mecklenburg-Schwerin where this John and Dora (Graff) Kruse family came from. Immigrated about 1849 to 1852. Cannot find them in the Hamburg Ship Lists. Cannot find the in the 1850 census so may have immigrated after that.
They immigrated possibly to Milwaukee, then to Portland, Dodge Co, Wisconsin by 1860. From there several kids went to Appleton, Outagamie Co., Wisconsin.
