Hi Gerrie,
Do you have any further information on John August Fraase, while in Wi, or why he moved to Pittsburgh area? Emilie, my g grandmother, is his sister; as well as Ida Fritz, who came to Wi around 1884. Ida and her family moved to ND around 1888, and that weems to be the time John August Fraase moved to Pittsburgh. I am curious as to why a brother would move to Pa, and a sister to ND around the same time frame. And Emilie and Julius, I haven't been able to determine where they went, if they moved at all. I do know Emilie was in ND, but I do not know if it was a visit, or a permanent move.
Also, any idea why John (who I had as Johann) changed his last name to Gust? How were able to find that out? Were you able to speak with a relative who knew?

As you can tell I have lots of questions and few answers. I do have more info on Fraase family back to 1743 - if you would like any info let me know. Also Justine Wick - her parents and grand parents names and birth dates.

I don't belong to Ancestry.com so not sure if I can access your family tree, but I will try. I did put info in Rootsweb Fraase family tree, which I have to update.

Thanks for responding. Hopefully, we can share more info.
Judy
