Hello, I’m putting together a book on the descendants of my GGG Grandparents Robert Hall Campbell and Lavina Campbell of Butler Co, PA. I was hoping to track down any descendants of the below people, to hopefully find some more information – so the book can be as complete as possible. If you’re out there, I’d love if we can get in touch.

1. Nathaniel W. KROUSE was born in Jan 1856 at Pittsburgh, Allegheny, PA. He married Mary Sabrina Campbell, daughter of Robert Hall Campbell and Lavina Campbell, in 1877. He died between 1911 and 1920.
About Mary and Nathaniel: Not sure where they met or married, but they were living in Fairview, Butler, PA in 1880, where they appeared to have started their family. Living with them also was Nathaniel’s brother John Krouse. Nathaniel was a Book Keeper, and Mary was a School Teacher. Nathaniel also owned a machine shop and store for oilwell supplies according to the Butler County History. They appeared to have moved to Pittsburgh, Allegany, PA sometime before 1910. By 1920, Mary was widowed and living in Pittsburgh, Allegany, PA, with her daughter Blanche, who was a single School Teacher. Then in 1930, Mary relocated again and was living in Scottdale, Westmoreland, PA with her other daughter Edna, who was a single Librarian. Don’t know when or where either of them died.
Known children of Nathaniel W. Krouse and Mary Sabrina Campbell all born at PA were as follows:
i. Arthur Warren KROUSE was born in Nov 1877. He married Bess Thompson in 1905.
About Arthur and Bess: Arthur and Bess had no children and lived mostly in Hubbard, Trumbull, OH. He was an Iron Miner it appears. Bess' mother lived with them for quite a while. I'm not sure what became of these two after 1920.
ii. Edna Laverne KROUSE was born in Jun 1879.
About Edna: It appears as though Edna never married. She was a Librarian, and lived with her parents in Pittsburgh and Scottdale.
iii. Blanche KROUSE was born in May 1882.
About Blanche: It appears as though Blanche never married. She was a Grade School Teacher, and lived with her parents in Pittsburgh.
iv. Frank KROUSE was born in 1884. He died in 1888 at PA.
v. Grace Mabel KROUSE, born 3 Feb 1887; married Dr. Howard H. Permar.
