Looking for corrections, connections with my Krotzer family lines

I beleive that ancestor
SAMUEL KROTZER ( found in 1870/1880 census records as Kratzer, found after 1880 spelled Krotzer ,and found in the 1860 census spelled Crotser)
was born around 1 Mar 1834 in Pennsylvania.
He appears in 1860 in President Township,Venango County, PA ( around Walnut Bend where his wife SOPHIA WATTERS/WALTERS died in 1864.
Samuel appears in the census have 3 children
JAMES age 5
MARY age 3
AMANDA age 1
My ancestor LAURA was born 2 years later in 1862
I believe Samuel was in the Civil WAr and was enlisted sometime bet 1862-1865. There appears to be a cpl of Samuel Krotzers in the Civil WAr records
After his wife Sohpia's death,Samuel remarried around 1866 to LAVINIA/LAVINA Bartholemew who may have been previously married to LEVI SCHITZ (also a CW Veteran who may have died in 1864/1865.)

Samuel and Lavina are found in the 1870 census for RIMERSBURG BORO,CLARION County,PA
with 2 of their children Marcus age 3, and Almira age 2 and AMANDA one of Samuel's children from his first marriage. According to family -my ancestor LAURA KROTZER was cared for by a MRS BENSON . I do not know what happened to the other 2 children JAMES and MARY. Would love to find out if they died or were sent to live with friends or family while Samuel was in the war and never returned to him like his daughter Laura.
Between 1875 and 1880 SAmuel and Lavnina and their children moved to MANHATTAN,RILEY,KANSAS
ACCORDING to Census records
LAVINIA had 9 children /7 living .I have record of 7 of them: MARCUS,ALMIRA,SYLVESTER,ROBERT,AMBROSE,ALBERT,and BERTHA. The first 5 were born in PA and last 2 were born in KANSAS.
I think HENRY CROTSER( Henrys wife looks like she was MARY REBECCA or BEcca - or he was married twice) who appears in the 1860 census for President,Venango,PA is the father of Samuel. I am also wondering if HENRY is the son of J.Phillip KROTZER from Upper Bethel,Northampton,PA but I need definitive proof
THanks!
YRS
