I have the Kingston baptismal records on CD-ROM and the Krom genealogy (The Descendants of Gysbert Crum, published by the Ulster Co. Gen. Society). In Ulster Co., it seems that all the Kroms, Krums, Croms, and Crums were part of the same family--just different spellings that evolved over the years.

Dina Krom, baptized 6 April 1740 at the Kingston Church, was the child of Gysbert Krom and Sara Bogart. They were married 21 Oct 1737 in Kingston. He was the son of Hendrick Krom and Dina Biggs and she was the daughter of Martin Bogart and Tanneke Delameter. The genealogy says she married John Middaugh and resided in Marbletown.

I am also descended from Hendrick Krom/Dina Biggs and Martin Bogart/Tanneke Delameter, so we are cousins (oh-so-distant) on both lines.

Siblings of Dina:
Marten (died young?)
Hendrick
Benjamin, married Maria Davenport
Anneke, married Egbert Brink
Jan (died young)
Jan, married Jane Swart
Marte
Geertje, married Johannis Quick

I have dates, etc. for the baptisms and marriages of the parents, grandparents, siblings, etc. if you want them.

Gretchen Maresco
