I am looking for the family of Joseph and Mary Kroening. I believe Joseph's father was, August from the Prussia area. Joeseph's and Mary's son, Bernard Fredrick was my grandfather, b. June 4, 1913 in Stratford, WI. I remember my grandpa talking about family in the MN.areas. I was wondering how this all is connected. One last thing, my brother, just came back from a business trip in Germany and he said the locals knew his name and coud pronounce it correctly. They told him the Kroening name was from a royal heritage. Anyone know about any of this?? I appreciate anyone who can help. Thank you
