My grandmother was Lillian Kroeger, b. 1892, and she lived in Rock Island, Illinois, as a child. Her brother George would have been born around 1890, and married a woman named Walpurga. Their father was August Kroeger, born 01/07/1855, and I know the family originated in Schleswig-Holstein, but we don't have much more information about them. Would love to know if they connect to your Kroeger family.
