Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum
message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles
will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will
no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.
I hope that someone still looks at this website since I just now found it and saw my cousin Bruce had added to it 5 years ago. Here is what I know. We "Fowler Krisles" go back to the founding of Fowler. George Fowler the founder was married to Angeline/Angelina Krisle. Not much in our familiy is known about her. Anyway...along the lines somewhere shortly after she came to Kansas so did William F. Krisle. I believe that we are descendants of his son Wiiliam "Bill" T. Krisle. He had several children but I'm sure of all of them off the top of my head. One of his children though was my great grandfather Ralph. He is the one who died of a suspicious death. He was found in one of the outbuildings on the family farm with a shotgun wound to the head. Stories say that he was very mean to a lot of people and that quite possibly someone shot him instead of him shooting himself. I know for a fact that he did set my other great grandfather on fire deliberately. Ralph had 3 children. Katherine "Kate", William "Bill", and Robert "Bob" who was my grandfather. Kate and Bill are still living but my grandfather passed away in 1983. Granddaddy Bob has 6 children; Dana Marjean, Kevin Wayne, Ralph Dean (my father), Kurtis Lee, Robert Clarence, and Michael Todd. My granddad Bob married Phyllis Enola Nichols. Marjean has 2 daughters, Michelle and Nicelle. Kevin has a son Bruce, who replied before, and Martha. Ralph has a daughter(that'd be me!) Lynn and my brother Robert Kenneth. Kurtis has an adopted daughter, Colby. Rob has a son, Cody. Mike has a son Devin. That makes 9 grandchildren (plus some step-children of Mike's). There are at this time 8 great-granchildren with one on the way and 2 step-grandchildren (Bruce's step-kids) and not counting Mike's step-grandkids. Hopefull this fills in some of the gaps for any Krisle hunters out there. I would love to hear from any Krisle family members that are out there!!! Thanks, Jennifer Lynn Krisle-Weber
