I was doing some internet stuff on December 31, 2007. Early this day. On the site I found it was called Germans from Russia Declarations of Intent Lancaster County, NE. I found our John Kriger with his age and birth, place Norka. Last place he lived was Norka. Departed from Bremen and arrived in Baltimore. Arrival date and the ships name Rhein.
As I was searching there was another John Krieger and Norka was the birth place.
I went in to Nebraska Cemeteries and it was on NEGen WEb Project.
You may find some of the cemeteries listed with pictures and also you will find the place to find the Germans from Russia.
I am interested in more Krieger family history but don't think we are doing the same line. Our John and Katy Krieger are bur. at Wyuka in Lincoln, NE
We don't have his parents names but Katy with was Katheriene Elizabeth was Blum and her father was Conrad Blum and her mother was Elizabeth Fox.
The Krieger name was also spelled Kreger on her death cert.
I have a cousin working on the Krieger line and she may also have run across other Kriegers.
Our John had a brother named George and he also came to Lincoln, NE from Russia.
Check the different spellings as some are with the e before the i.
