Checking family tree of Martha Elizabeth Kresge (dob abt June 1878).

Her father was Charles A. Kresge (dob abt 1846) and mother Susanna (aka "Susan") (dob abt 1852 - maiden name "Singer" in family records, but "George" in IGI - possibly a transcription error?).

Charles was from Tobyhanna and I believe a son of Linford Kresge (dob ??) and Martha Adam (dob abt 1822). I've identified Linford's parents as Jacob Kresge (dob 28 Mar 1774) and Elizabeth Renner (dob 21 Sep 1775). I have also identified Jacob's parents as Conrad Kresge (dob abt 1730 - Germany) and Anna Margaret Kohl (dob abt 1735).

On the 1900 census, Martha was living, possibly with her parents, in Chestnuthill, Monroe Co. It appears that Martha previously had 2 children by a "Burton Everitt" whom she divorced by 1900. One child may have died and the son Raymond eventually took the surname of Kresge. Martha appears to have married "John A. Groner" late in 1900 and had 4 children by 1910 and lists a "Raymond Kresge" as "servant" At that time they lived on Millgrove Valley Road, Bushkill Twp, Northampton. We also have other information that Martha may have been married to a "Charles Groener" (Groner). I believe she later may have married a "Steward R Colver".

Would appreciate it if someone can give us the correct surname of Susanna and verify if we are on the right trail of Martha, as her son Arthur H or possibly Henry A. Groner (or Groener), is my Grandfather.
