My Krenz family came from Posen area in Prussia. They included Anton, Jacob, Martin, Anna, Appolonia, John.
Most arrived in Wisconsin and lived in the Farmington or Oshkosh areas.
Jesse Krenz is found with wife Mildred in the household of Herman Krenz, age 54, at the 1920 census for Superior City, Douglas Co, Wisconsin. ED# 83 124/273, living on 16th Street. Herman was widowed and had been born in Posen or Poznan Prussia. Son Jesse, age 28, was born in Wisconsin and worked as a teacher. Jesse's wife Mildrd, age 27, also was born in Wisconsin.
The World War I draft registration card for Jesse lists his full name as Jesse Edward Krenz and his birth date as 24 Jul 1891.
