Thanks for the reply. There may be a connection. The James C. I'm searching was born in Cumberland Co. at Sporting Hill near Mechanicsburg, PA in 1843. He Entered the Civil War in the 1st PA Calvary, participatged in 24 battles, was wounded, and then discharged in 1864. He moved to Fairview Township, York. His daughter Jennie, born 1865/67 was my G-grandmother and is buried in/Slate Hill Menonite Church, Camp Hill, beside her husband, Jonathan L Miller. James C. died in 1929 and was a Civil war Pensioner. Your Sam Kreitzer may have been his son. Do you have any other info. Thanks for the info.
