Hi DeeDee,

My father-in-law, Herbert Russell Kreger, was born in 1903 at Sharon, Woodward County, OK. He married and moved to Canton, Blaine Co., OK sometime in the late 30's or early 40's. Canton is around 30 miles from Thomas (give or take)
What was your grandfather's name? Would his ancestors have come from Germany? The name Kreger (in this line) was originally Krieger or Kreiger. The i was dropped sometime in the late 1800's. Do you think there might be a connection here?
