I was very happy to see your information on this family.I am descended from Phillip Henrich Krebs b. 1735,son of Johann Heinrich Krebs m. to Maria Barbara Krim. I knew nothing about my Philip Henrich Krebs' parents until I just now read your information!!! Thank you so much. I am wondering if either of you,or Bill CRIBBS or anyone else knows where in Pennsylvania this family lived ( through two generations---Johann Heinrich Krebs and his father, Johann Michael Krebs).You say that Johann Michael Krebs was born 1677 in Germany and his wife Margaretha Barbara KREBSIN was also born in Germany,do you know where?? Are they the immigrants??? My Phillip Henrich Krebs b. 1735, married Bet. 1758 - 1759 in Pennsylvania Sarah Keller(Kehler). I don't know where Philip Henrich Krebs was born or got married. His wife, Sarah Keller (Kehler) was born in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania and I have found baptism records for Philip and Sarah's second ( 1762) and fourth ( 1767) children in Dryland Church, Lower Nazareth Township, Northampton County, Pennsylvania. Philip Henrich Krebs was in Fallowfield Township, Washington Co., Pennsylvania by 1778 when his oldest child, Catherine Krebs, married Ephrian Wilson.He died after 1810 in Fallowfield Township, Washington County, Pennsylvania.Philip Henrich Krebs and Sarah Keller( Kehler) had 8 children:(1) Catherine Krebs b. 02 May 1760 in PA.d.28 Jan 1819 Johnson Township, Ripley County, Indiana m.Ephriam Wilson 1778 Fallowfield, Washington County, Pennsylvania;(2) John Philip Krebs b.09 Dec 1762 Lower Nazareth Township, Northampton County, Pennsylvania, d.06 Oct 1846 Fallowfield, Washington County, Pennsylvania, m.Elizabeth 1787 Washington County, Pennsylvania; (3) Susanna Krebs b.1764 in PA.d. Abt. 1840 Huntington, Brown County, Ohio m. Johannas ( John ) Hawk 1784 Fallowfield, Washington County, Pennsylvania. (4)Abraham Krebs bapt.11 Mar 1767 Dryland Church,Lower Nazareth Township, Northampton, County, Pennsylvania d.05 Feb 1836 Jefferson County, Ohio m.Thankful Lyons,(5)Jacob Krebs b.03 Mar 1769 in PA.d.09 Oct 1842 White River, Indiana m. Alice Dillon, (6)Sarah Krebs b.1770 PA. d.23 Feb 1833 Twin Township, Ross County, Ohio m.Johann Peter Platter 1787 Fallowfield, Washington County, Pennsylvania? I am descended from Philip Henrich and Srah Keller( Kehler) Krebs oldest child, Catherine Krebs m. Ephriam Wilson.
