According to Joh. Benedom's 2001 publication Familien und Einwohner in Schifferstadt, your Anna Maria Kraus was born on the 22Feb1731 in Schifferstadt and died there on the 7Jun1781. She married Georg Hoock of Geinsheim on the 8Feb1756 in Schifferstadt. She was the fourth of eight children of Vitus Kraus and Anna Barbara Krämer (p. 255).
Vitus Kraus, tailor, was born in 1700 in Schifferstadt and died there on the 19Dec1779. Anna Barbara Krämer was born on the 23Nov1701 in Schifferstadt and died there on the 8Apr1773. They were married in Schifferstadt on the 14Jan1724 (p. 255).
Vitus Kraus was the youngest of five children of Vitus Kraus and Maria Eva (unknown). He was born in 1651 in Schifferstadt and died there on the 24Oct1726. She died there on the 22Oct1720. They were married in Schifferstadt after 1675. His father was Michael Kraus who became a citizen of Schifferstadt in 1669 and died there in 1682 (p. 254).
Anna Barbara Krämer was the endest of nine children of Joh. Ludwig Krämer, mayor, and Maria Anna Keck. He was born in 1684 in Schifferstadt and died there on the 7Oct1729. She was born in 1684 in Schifferstadt and died there on the 1Oct1754. They were married in Schifferstadt on the 1Feb1701 (pp. 242-3).
Joh. Ludwig Krämer was the youngest of four children of Jakob Krämer and Catharina (unknown). Jakob Krämer died in Schifferstadt on the 1May1701. Catharina was born about 1623 in Schifferstadt and died there on the 25Apr1705. They were married after 1650 in Schifferstadt (p. 242).
Maria Anna Keck was the second of three daughters born to Joh. Peter Adam Keck and his first wife whom he married in Klein Schifferstadt. He became a citizen of Schifferstadt in 1667 and died there in 1691 (p. 208).
The above were all Catholics.
I descend from the third child of Vitus Kraus the Elder and his wife, as well as from Joh. Ludwig Krämer and Maria Anna Keck.
