My Grandparents came to Chicago area from Bavaria in the late 1880's. Benedict and Antonia Kraus. Benedict was born near Bayern and Antonia was born in Altglashuttin, Bavaria. They later moved to central Wisconsin. Have you found any other information since you've posted this? Does this help?
