What you know about your ancestor? Did they come thru Ellis Island or other port? Were they naturalized citizen? Did they have social security numbers? Do you know where they were born in "old country"? Maybe the church records will shed some light once you locate a precise place of birth.

In 1990 census of names there were 53 KRATZs in Poland.
