Do you know where the family lived when they first arrived. I have an Ernest (Ernst) Kratz born in Germany, who married Rosina Ulrich around 1870 and had a son named Ernest William Kratz. Ernst died shortly after the birth of his son (my guess) and Rosina and her son can be found in Baltimore, MD.
