Hi Emily-

My Name is Valerie Krapf Hodge. My nephew Kenon Krapf and I have started researching our family history - as a high school project of his. Our family is from Pennsylvania. My grandfather, Charles Krapf (Kenon's great grandfather) was raised by his Aunt & Uncle, Adam & Hanna Krapf. Charles'own mother died when he was born - the last of his mother and fathers 16 children! His father gave him up to his wife's brother (Adam Krapf) to raise and went & eventually married again & had other children. My grandfather Charles Krapf was born, raised and lived all his life in the Wilkes-Barre - Ashland area of Penn.
How much do you know about your family history? Some of the names I am finding in the family are:
William George Krapf, Albert Krapf(lived in Annapolis Md), Elizabeth Krapf, Esther Krapf, Johannas Krapf, Annie C Krapf, Eliza Krapf, and Wilhelm Krapf.
Perhpas some of these names may mean something to your father or grandfather if they are still living. We have found one person so far that is a decendant of William George Krapf. If you think you may be related we would love to hear from you and loved to share information with you!
