Hello, I found info on John Krantz and have some more on his marriage to Sarah Proctor. Also have found where a John Krantz is buried in Williamson County, Illinois. I believe him to have been a brother to my gggrandmother, Mary Stuart Krantz. If so his father was Michael Krantz and his mother was Sarah (Deming) possibly. He had a sister named Matilda Krantz who according to my mother left Southern, Illinois and went to California where she lived and died. Possibly married a John Pierce. Glad to send you what little I have. My John Krantz father Michael had a brother named David and now that I think about it, John Krantz also had a brother named David.
