Doug,

Thankyou for your reply. It doesn't seem then that your John could be the missing brother to my Krantz's. I have the oldest brother being Oskar.. the oldest of 8 brothers and 2 sisters and he was born in 1863 in the Neustettin/Pommern district of Germany. Your John would be too old to fit in here. Thank you for taking the time to give me the information though!! Good luck in your search!
