Patrice, While surfing at the library today, I came across the post of yours. I have a lot of information on many families that migrated to Illinois, my line went to Naperville. This migration occured in the mid-1800s. In Naperville, Kramer/Kreamer is one of the lines of which I have information. Among the others, there were the families with the surnames of Musselman, Rickert, and Stark . I would be happy to share information on them.
The Evangelical Association was around 1800 by Rev. Jacob Albright in Pennsylvania. The early ministers were itinerant ministers who traveled across Pennsylvania. Somewhat later, many families headed west in groups settling in Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, and Iowa. These groups, I think, put in a requests for ministers to the main church in Pennyslvnia. I would assume that John was one of the earliest ministers who was posted to Illinois. Paul
