Dear Sir, dear Dennis,

In reply to your message: Indeed, my paternal ancestors are the Krahenbuhl (with Umlauts on a and u, in former days Krayenbuhl) from the Parish of Groshoechstetten (including Grosshoechstetten, Zaeziwil, Mirchel and Bowil) (the very origin of the family). Lineage back to the year 1496. We, the Crebolders meergenaamd Krijbolder, belong to the Dutch branch of the family, since 1739.I read that you once were searching for a Krahenbuhl-lady. But I can't trace her without more more precise names and details. I do not recognize either the name of the husband, which you mentioned, as a Swiss/ Bernese / less a typical family name of the Emmental. There were Krahenbuhl which moved to Montbeliard for religious reasons, but (to have a slight possibility) to identify them once again you need to have more details.

With kind regards,

Bernard J.J.Krijbolder
