My father is a william mcowen born in Cinti, Ohio, his father was also a William Mcowen, but I think that he was born in upstate New York- but I'm not sure. I know he is buried there. Do you have the middle names of the William Mcowen born to John mcowen? My father was born in 1927, his father was considered old when he was born, but I don't know how "old" is old...love to hear if you have found more info.
