I have just begun my search and know that my grandparents migrated from Budapest Hungary in the early 1900's..They settled in the Meadville, Pa area and had a homestead there....both are now deceased.....My father upon retirement found that they dropped the s from the end of the name when they came here....there were numerous children, but I only know of a few by name.....there were a set of male twins, one of which died and is buried in Meadville, the surviving one is Albert Kovac, my father is Alfred Joseph Kovac, there is a brother named Stephen Kovac, I have an aunt who is suppose to of moved at a young age to California, her name is Elizabeth, also there is a name of Paul......I have a brother named William Harry Kovac who was adopted around 1950 from the courts in Erie, Pa...he was born either April 22, or 24, 1947 in Newbrighton Pa....My grandparents name were Elizabeth and Stephen Kovac....this is all I have to go on.....my father was born, October 2,3,4,or 5, of 1923...but unsure as to where.....any help that you can give me would be helpful......thank you....
