Wilma Louise (Kunc) Coudeyras

I found this among my grandmother's things, and thought I'd post it to see if it helps anyone. I can't say for sure, but Wilma might have been a cousin. I have seen the name spelled Koontz, Kountz, and Kuntz in our family. I've never gotten beyond Wellsville, Ohio on my family, so I finally gave up on them. Hope this information helps somebody!

Died September 1, 1983 [near] Burchard, Nebraska
Burial: September 5, 1983 Lewiston, Nebraska

Father: Joseph Kunc.
Mother: Mollie.
Siblings: Darlene, Joseph, Harry, Evelyn, Maxine, and Betty.
Husband: Rene Coudeyras.
Children: Donald Dean, Sharon, David Lee, Dennis Joe, Douglas Rene.

Wilma Coudeyras was born near DuBois, Nebraska, on September 12, 1924, to Joseph and Mollie Kunc. She grew up on farms in the Burchard area with her brothers and sister. Wilma attended Burchard Public Schools through the 12 th grade, graduating in 1942.

Wilma and Rene Coudeyras were united in marriage on June 8, 1944, at Marysville, Kansas, and soon began their lifelong career of farming near Burchard. To this union five children were born.

Wilma was a faithful member of the Burchard United Methodist Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband Rene, her mother Mollie Kunc, and an infant sister Darlene. Surviving are her children Donald Dean, Mrs. Harold (Sharon) Klein, David Lee, Dennis Joe, and Douglas Rene, also eight grandchildren, her father Joe Kunc Sr., brothers Joe Jr. and Harry, and sisters Mrs. Avery (Evelyn) Dalton, Mrs. Joe (Maxine) Clema, and Mrs. Gene (Betty) Pierce.
