Dear Tom / Dear Rita ---
I have been mapping out the descendants Joseph (5) Ives (1737-1785) & Elizabeth GRANNIS (1740-1819). They lived in Claremont, NH, had 9 children. He was a brother to my ancestor (Aner IVES, Sr.), and also a Revolutionary War soldier. I will trace one particular line for you:
John M. (6) IVES (1767-1813) m. Mary THOMAS
Warren (7) IVES (1790-1860) m.
Louisa Buxton LADD (1803-1872)
Charlotte P. (8) IVES (1836-1874) m.
Henry Clay WRIGHT (1832-1888)
Mary Louise (9) WRIGHT (1854-1932) m.
George Charles KOSTERMAN (1852-1935)
[son of Johannes & Marie]
The KOSTERMAN'S died in Racine, WI, so I am fairly certain you will know how they fit into your family. They had 9 children, and left descendants.
I have more, especially on the IVESES, but would be interested in filling in the more recent generations. (WRIGHT, KOSTERMAN, MILLER, SPENCER, STOFFEL, etc.) Please contact me. Thanks.
Alan J. Ives (Oshkosh, WI---just 2 hours north of Racine)
