Check on the Koester surname board (spelled with the e), here's a post I made a while ago about Joseph Koester, who might possibly have been a brother or cousin of my own ancestor Herman Heinrich Koester who lived in St. Charles Co. Missouri.

Here's the link though it may not be live, so you'll have to copy and paste.

And I learned from a descendant of one of the Lincoln Co. Koesters that there were 7 brothers who immigrated over a number of years in the early decades of the 19th century. The records aren't complete enough it seems to tie them all in though. So I can't be certain if my own ancestor is one of them, but my guess is yes.
