I am looking for any decendents of Edward Kost or Ernest Kost (brothers). Both came from either Lublin, Poland or Russia some time after 1890. Edward was born in 1865 and Ernest in 1874. (Info. obtained from Pennsylvania 1910 Census Miracode Index.) Edward's wife was Bertha and Ernest's wife was Anna A. Edward had five daughters in 1910 (Wanda, Leida, Ruth, Elizabeth, Gertrude) and two sons (Robert, Edward). Ernest had two daughters (Margaret, Esther) and one son (Otta W).
I am a descendent of Edward and Ernest's sister, Caroline Kost. Caroline along with her parents, Karl Kost and his wife (name unknown), and five other children emigrated from Lublin, Poland to Canada in 1894. The two brothers, Edward and Ernest, emigrated to Pennsylvania. Please e-mail at milesertman@powersurfr.com.
