I am looking for relatives of Rev. William Kost.
His wife’s name was Jessie.
They had three children; Wilbert, Harold and Bernice.
Rev. Kost was the first pastor of our church,
Memorial Spiritual Church. (then known as Sunflower
Church)
Rev. William Kost had three sisters:
Mary Kost married Fred Riehl.
They had two daughters Viola and Dolores.
Stella Kost married Henry Miller.
They had one son named Arthur.
Emma Kost married Nick Baldwin.
They had one daughter named Laura.
Emma Baldwin donated the land for our church in
memory of Laura who died in the Collinwood School
Fire in 1908.
I am researching the history of the family because our church stands today
because of the donation of land from Emma.
