I have been researching my GGG Grandparents Jacob Schneider and Phillipina Schornick who were married by Christian Rudolf Korndoerffer on JUly 12, 1834 in St Louis. I did a google on the name because it is so unusual. You are the only one who mentions that Christian lived in St Loius for a while. In fact there's a web page from which I reached your entry that said he didn;'t even come to the US until 1848. That's obviously wrong.

I have his original signature on a log of some sort that he eventually submitted to the St Louis County Recorder. I had hoped to attach a pdf file to this note, but can't. If you email me back at I'll send it to you. It looks like he spelled your name Korndoerffer. It also appears he did a double wedding that day involving my GGG Grandmother's brother.

Have a good day.
