I have been researching my GGG Grandparents Jacob Schneider and Phillipina Schornick who were married by Christian Rudolf Korndoerffer on JUly 12, 1834 in St Louis. I did a google on the name because it is so unusual. You are the only one who mentions that Christian lived in St Loius for a while. In fact there's a web page from which I reached your entry that said he didn;'t even come to the US until 1848. That's obviously wrong.
I have his original signature on a log of some sort that he eventually submitted to the St Louis County Recorder. I had hoped to attach a pdf file to this note, but can't. If you email me back at jschneider2@cox.net I'll send it to you. It looks like he spelled your name Korndoerffer.It also appears he did a double wedding that day involving my GGG Grandmother's brother.
