I just checked your email on Marie Elisabeth Korndörfer, from the Odenbach branch
In March You wrote:
"Hi. My gggg grandmother was Maria Elisabeth Korndörfer b. March 8, 1788 in Odenbach, Pfalz, Bayern. She married Friedrich Möllendick. Her parents were Philipp Korndörfer and Elisabeth Margarethe Heyel. Philipp's parents were Philipp Wilh. Korndörfer (b. 1714 in Wöllstein)and Maria Elisabeth Engler. Other then Philipp's birth in Wöllstein, all of them were born and died in Odenbach. Any connections?
I also know she married Friedrich Moellendiek on July 14, 1857, but nothing else besides that (on her, I mean). Do you know when and where she died?
As Gustavo mentioned, we have more data on Marie's ancestors and I would gladly share them, if you are interested..
Some corrections: a) Marie first name is written with e at the end, to differentiate from her aunt Maria Elisabetha. Marie's father complete name is Johan Philipp K. (call children by the second name was very usual, as the first one was usually shared by generations of Johans). We know Johann Philipp died before 1825, in Odenbach, but no definite date. Do you happen to know?
Johan Philipp had only female children (Marie Elisabeth, Christina Philippina, Catharine Charlotte, Jakobina, Anna Margaretha,), therefore his lineage died with him. He was born on 16May1760 in Odenbach. He had two brothers (Johann Jakob and Johan Daniel) and two sisters (Charlotte Margaretha and Maria Elisabetha).
Philipp Wilhelm was married to Maria Elisabeth Engler on August 2, 1756., in Odenbach. He was born on Sept 21, 1715 (not 1714) in Wöllstein and died in Odenbach on May 8, 1785. His wife was born in 1727 (we do not have the date. Do you happen to have it???). She died on Nov 5, 1791 in Odenbach.
I have more, but let me know if you want it. Any data you could supply would help.
