Ferdinand Korn was present at the baptism of my grandmother, Helena Barz, on May 19, 1889 in Joliet. Her father was Albert Barz. Ferdinand Korn was also present at the baptism of Albert Barz' brother Carl in Germany in 1857. He (Ferdinand) was listed as being from Raffenberg in the county of Neustettin. I suspect my family was related to the Korn family, but I don't have the proof yet.
