Miss Day,
I'm sorry but I have no knowledge of your Brother George Day. There were approximately 4000 paratroopers that went to war with the 187th Airborne Regimental Combat Team. My knowledge of those fine men is somewhat limited to the men in which I served with in Company B.
The only Canadian that I knew of was from Company C and his name was Gordon O. Fengstad. He was killed in action at Kimpo, South Korea in September of 1950.
I wish I could have been of more help to you. I am sure that your Brother George was a fine soldier and a credit to his family and the U.S. Army.
