Battle site was across the Imjin River from Panmunjong, where a cease-fire was being discussed by the warring parties.
My brother was a Marine machine-gunner, killed during the battle. He was a member of G Company, 3rd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division. His name/rank was PFC Marvin H. Jolliff.
Would like to hear from anyone who fought in the battle or who may have known Marvin.
