That is so wonderful that your son remembers his grandfather. It is true that many young people don't do this and seem interested at all.
My dad was a Korean War Vet. I am very proud of him. He passed away last August. I miss him very much. He was in the US Navy and stationed at Pearl Harbor. His best friend that he joined up with was sent to Korea and had alot of nightmares. Dad never spoke at all about this war and his best friend never did either. I didn't know much about it but am learning more about it. It seems as someone stated here the forgotten victory.... don't hear much about this. I will check out these websites that somebody referred to.
