Posting the following information concerning my dad in hopes some one who may have known him will respond.

Glenn Longest Bray, JR.

"He was missing in action (presumed dead) in North Korea near ********* during the Korean Conflict about 1950, shortly after the beginning of the war. In the early morning hours of that date his company was attacked by a numerically superior enemy force. Private Bray, with utter disregard for his personal safety, crawled from his foxhole on the forward edge of the defensive perimeter and maintained an extremely exposed position in order to place more effective fire upon the attacking enemy. He repeated this act several times in the course of the attack, and when the order came to withdraw, he remained in position to provide covering fire for the withdrawal of his squad. For this act of heroism he received the Bronze Star medal and the Purple Heart posthumously."
