Diena Wilhelmina Christina KOOPS (b. 7 DEC 1876) married my great-grandfather, Anders Petter Alexanderson on 10 JUL 1920, in Caldwell, Canyon County, Idaho. She was from Kampen, the Netherlands. She had a brother, Evert Koops, born 25 APR 1891, from Kampen.

His obituary:
Funeral services for Evert "Dutch" Koops, 71, were held in the Jones Funeral Home on 21 July 1962. Mr. Koops passed away 19 July 1962 in the Veterans Hospital in Boise, where he had been confined for the past six weeks. He had been in ill health for the last 13 years. He was born in Krampen, Holland on 26 April 1891. He came to the United States when he was about 16 years of age. He came to the west and settled in the Blackfoot area. He was married to Rose Leigh in 1930 in Blackfoot. Mr. Koops farmed and operated a dairy there for about five years. He followed this trade a great part of his life. He came to the Salmon area and purchased a home below Shoup and lived there until the high water of 1956. Mr. and Mrs. Koops came to Salmon at that time and have made their home here. Mr. Koops served his country during World War I serving in the Army from June of 1917 to June 1919. He is survived by his wife, Rose; one sister, Mrs. A. P. Alexanderson of Caldwell. Burial took place in the Salmon Cemetery with military honors under the auspices of the American Legion.
