I would encourage all men with Koons surname to look into having DNA testing. Note 2003 message on this forum by Raymond Coon. My Koons (Kuntz) ancestral line came from a small village, Buehl, in Alsace. My immigrant ancestor George Kuntz came to America in 1830, first settled in Northumberland Co., PA, later moved to Allen Co., IN (Fort Wayne).
