Hi Sue, here is some information on Owen Koonce and Owen Koonce Jr. who could be connected to your line;

Owen Koonce, born 1820, Rutherford County, Tennessee. He married Arrena Sims June 11, 1841 Rutherford County, Tennessee. Arrena was born 1813 Tennessee. Their children were; Martha, born 1842; George, born 1843; Jackson, born 1844; Mahalia, born 1846; Owen, born 1848; Robert, born 1849; Arenna, born 1854; Jane, born 1856.

Owen Koonce Sr. was the son of Wendel M. and Nancy Koonce.

I don't know what happened to them, but some of them could have migrated to Arkansas or Kentucky. Let me know if you want additional information on this family group.
