I am researching a phd on an English landscape artist called Francis Towne (1739-1816) who in 1762 was living or working at the following address: "Mr Koon's, James Street, near Brook Street, Grosvenor Square".

I have been unable to find any reference to Mr Koon and wondered if anyone had any ideas?
