Our family of Konrads immigrated from Taurage Lithuania in 1913. My dad said that according to his father, Julius, that some of his family(uncles, aunts..) remained in the area. According to some late family members, some of our family was pushed out of their homes and were forced to march back to Germany (during the war), others they never heard from again. Supposedly some settled near Munich--but all contact with them was later lost. Were your KONRADS from Lithuania or nearby? My grandfather had a brother Edward who was born 05-06-1888 and died in 1966, I think in Essington, PA. He was the son of Julius Daniel and Augusta Pauline(Dubois) Konrad.
