Valentine Aloysius Konopinski was born in Posen/Prussia/Germany 6 April 1889, and accompanied his father to America in 1890.
His mother, Rose Kluck (or Klug) Konopinski remained in Prussia to give birth to Anton (born 1890, Libawo Gub. Mi(unreadable in the Pittsburgh Diocese record of his death on 11 Sept 1891).
Marianna (Mary) was born in Pittsburgh 27 January 1891.
Alexander was born in Pittsburgh Feb. 1893.We find Alexander on a Church plaque, as having served in W.W.I
Grandfather Valentine changed his surname to KONN in 1912, shortly before he married Cecilia Theresa Helfrich in Sharpsburg PA.They moved to Ohio about 1920 and built their own house in Fairview Park (West-side suburb of Cleveland).
Religion:Catholic
Nationality:Grandma always said "German", Grandpa said "Prussian".
Looking for Mary - who married a "Brzinski" my mother thinks.
Also looking for Rose's uncle, supposedly a Prussian General who served in the German Army in W.W.I
