NY & PA Kollers & Cuylers

I have found that the Kollers (Cullers) listed in the 1790 census of PA spelled their name Koller. There are a lot of Cuylers listed in the 1790 NY Census (Albany Co). Is this another variation of the spelling or is this a different line of Kollers/Cullers?
