If anyone can find the ancestors of Frederick and Caroline, please post or contact me. Most of this is derived from census data KO1 Frederick Kolb; b. Sep 1861 in New York; m. Caroline Streb; b. Nov 1867 in NY. She was the daughter of George Streb; b. about 1810 in Baden, Germany, and Katharina; b; about 1824 in Wurttemberg, Germany. In the 1880 Census, George, Katharina, son John age 26; b. in Baden, son Damion age 21; b. in Baden, daughter Anna age 18; b. in Baden, and Caroline age 13; b. in NY were living in Rochester. George was a laborer, and his sons worked in a shoe factory. In the 1900 census, Frederick Kolb was a tailor living in Rochester, NY. Both of his parents were born in Germany.
