Elise/Elizabeth Kolb b. 1842, Bavaria, Germany. May 19,1862, married David Fessler in the United Evangelical German Lutheran Church of Saint Paul, Chicago, Ill. Church has no information either in Chicago or Lutheran home office. I have copy of marriage Certificate. Family lore says she was from a Chicago family, but I can't find any Kolb connections any place in Illinois. Went to Fort Dodge, Iowa with husband where he had a home and business. Would like to know who her parents and sibs were.
