I'm trying to trace my wife's family (Kohout) and am not having much luck. I know they had to come here in the mid to late 1800's from somewhere. A lot of immigrants came in at NYC. Her family ended up in Kansas and later in Nebraska. Mabe there is a connection to the Kohouts you refer to. I'd like to see the info you have. Thanks, Slag.
