I have been trying to get information about this artist for many years. Kohn was born in Paris, France in 1874.I do not have a date of death on him. He is mentioned in several art magazines. The dates range from 1920-1940. He studied art in Paris and painted in the Alsace-Lorraine area of France. Kohn was a very good portrait painter.He also painted small scenes of Jewish folklore.I do not know if he settled in the U.S. A.--My search of many thousands of Kohn's has not worked out. A prominent man like Maler surely was married,and had a family.If anyone knows any thing about this man,I would appreciate hearing from you
