I have found a newspaper report saying that my Dublin, Ireland resident ancestor, Charles Kohler, was actually born in "Neustadt Baden" in 1858. He died in a train crash in Constance in 1900 whilst visiting a relative, Mr B Kohler, of Neustadt.
Charles father was born in Dublin and his grandfather is first found in Dublin although I have no idea where he was born. Both the father and grandfather were also called Charles.
Does anyone have any connection with a Kohler family of Neustadt, Baden, or ccan anyone tell me how I can go about finding out more please? Sadly I am not a German speaker so my searches on the internet are not meeting with any success.
All information will be received with gratitude and I will of course share my own findings.
